Digital Marketing Specialist

Format Agency is searching for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. Comprised of designers, photographers, videographers, and digital marketers, our team works with a wide range of clientele from recognizable local brands to nationwide Fortune 500 companies.

As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with our marketing team and Creative Director to strategize, manage, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for the company and our clients.

Utilizing skills in writing, social media, and project management, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in driving demand generation and client satisfaction.

Who You Are

This position is responsible for creating a wide range of content to support marketing strategy. The role requires a keen ability to access and execute on digital content needs including adapting writing styles across multiple mediums and platforms. Key responsibilities include writing advertising copy for multiple companies to achieve branding and lead generation goals; creating social media posts for a variety of social platforms; writing content for customer email campaigns as well as internal emails; writing and updating website copy; and writing blogs and newsletter articles.

What You’ll Do

  • Create compelling content to support annual and monthly marketing plans and content calendars
  • Write copy for multi-channel advertising campaigns, to include digital advertising (paid search, display, paid social) as well as traditional advertising (print ads, signage, brochures, flyers)
  • Create posts for multiple social media accounts
  • Develop content for email campaigns for multiple companies
  • Maintain existing website content for internal and external companies and craft new website content as needed to support new initiatives
  • Collaborating with in-house communications team, create content for blogs, internal emails, articles, and more
  • Manage and respond to all written reviews ex. Google, Yelp, etc.
  • Leverage existing long-form research content to create blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and short videos
  • Monitor digital social media content calendar as well as the daily campaign optimization efforts to ensure they are achieving the reach, engagement, and conversion goals
  • Work with marketing and colleagues to brainstorm new ideas and strategic marketing initiatives
  • Manage various PPC, display, and retargeting campaigns for Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and other ad platforms to drive traffic to the website

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; marketing, journalism, advertising, or communications strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent spelling, punctuation, and copywriting skills
  • 2 to 3 years professional experience required; experience in marketing agency preferred
  • Must be able to provide writing and social media samples
  • Excellent editing, grammar, and proofing skills
  • Experience with a website content management system a plus; WordPress preferred
  • Experience with social media management tools and key social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube required
  • Experience with email management tool required
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs while under pressure on strict time deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver and execute high quality and consistent work
